Program Fee
The program fee for the 2024 VSP is $5,825 CAD and it includes:
– Tuition for your course package and course materials
– Accommodation on the UBC campus
– Medical insurance
– Group transport to and from the airport
– City tour of Vancouver, welcome and farewell events, as well as weekly sociocultural events
An application fee of $85 CAD is payable upon submitting your application, with the balance of $5540 CAD due by the payment deadline stated below.
Please note that some of the activities may be partly subsidized or come at an additional cost. For example, students may be responsible for the cost of public transportation for all off-campus classes, field trips and events. Your airfare, meals, personal trips and personal expenses are not covered in the program fee unless noted otherwise.
Payment Deadline
To qualify for the 2023 VSP, you must receive your Letter of Acceptance and pay the program fee by the following dates:
– June Session: March 22, 2024 (extended from March 1, 2024)
– July Session: April 5, 2024
Eligibility
You must meet the following eligibility criteria to participate in the Arts VSP:
– Be an undergraduate student at a post-secondary institution outside of Canada. The Arts VSP will accept applications from undergraduate students who complete their degree between December 2022 and the program start date;
– Be at least 18 years of age on the first day of the program, and;
– Be fully proficient in English and be able to engage in an academic setting. Language requirements are self-assessed – we do not require TOEFL or IELTS results.
